I Am Finally Back!!!!

I am so glad to let you know that I am finally back in the blogging world.  Thanks to my dad I now have a brand new laptop!!  I thought that I would be able to make until Christmas without a computer (I have a Blackberry and I have internet at school), but I couldn’t make it.  It has been awful!!  Every time I would get ready to do something, I wouldn’t be able to get it done.  It was crazy!  I will try to update my blog with things that have been going on in for the past few months, but it may take me a while.

My computer has died!!

Ok, not sure who all reads my blog, but just wanted to let everyone know that my computer has died. Therefore the blogging will be limited or non existent until I get a new one. I have asked my dad for one for Christmas, so I should have one by then. I know it is a long way off, but I am able to check e-mail/facebook with my Blackberry. Maybe it won't be too bad!! I will try to keep you posted as much as I can.

New Beginnings and Bittersweet Endings

Today has really been an incredible day. I started a brand new chapter in my life at my new job in Caledonia. It was a bit difficult being the new kid on the block, but I know all of that will change with time. God has totally orchestrated this change in my life and I am looking forward to seeing what He has in store for me.

After work today, all of the speech therapists from my last school district got together to bid me farewell. I am truly blessed to have been a part of such a great group of ladies. They have completely helped me through one of the most difficult years of my life. Without them, I don't think that I would have made it. They each hold a very special place in my heart and I will miss them terribly.

A Day at the Lake

After church, some friends and I took lunch out to Lake Lowndes and hung out for a while. The weather was gorgeous. Sure wish the weather was like this all the time.

Good Times with Friends

Kelly and her family came in town this weekend, so today, she, Michelle, Evan and I met at Proffitt's Porch for lunch.  It was a great time visiting with them and catching up.  Afterwards, Michelle, Evan and I did a little shopping and then they came over to my house to visit some more.  I forgot to take a picture of all of us at Proffitt's, but I took a couple of Evan at my house.

Rick and Bubba Live!!

This past Tuesday, I had the opportunity to go the Rick and Bubba show in Birmingham (Thanks, Rhonda!)   We went down on Monday and got in some shopping, swimming, and of course, some good eating (The Cheesecake Factory - YUM!)  Then Tuesday morning we got and went to the show.  Everyone associated with the show were super nice and came over and talked with us during the breaks.  Afterwards, we had our pictures taken with them.  If you ever have a chance to go, I highly recommended it!!

Caledonia - Here I Come!

Well, after a VERY stressful week of interviews and decisions, I am now officially the new speech pathologist for Caledonia schools. I am very excited and nervous about this new chapter in life, but through all of this I have again been assured that God is in control. Thank you for all of your prayers!!!
