Well, today was the last day for students at Union Academy. It was a very sad day for us today. Due to the lack of enrollment with school choice, the district has decided to close a wonderful school. I understand their reasoning, but it still is a sad day for us. I have had the privilege of being at Union for 6 of my 9 years in the district and have met some of the greatest teachers I know. I travel with my job, so I am not a school much during the day. I have always wanted to be a part of a school family, but with my job it is sometimes hard (b/c I am never there). The Union family always made me feel that I was a part of their school and their family. I am truly blessed to be a part of such an awesome staff. You all mean the world to me and I will miss you all next year.

Yeah! Stephanie is a blogger now! And you have already made it adorable... took me months to do that:) I look forward to the "Chronicles of Steph and JJ". Maybe you will be better at posting with some consistency that I am!
